These areas are removed with a backhoe, loader, or bobcat. The broken material is transported to the nearest site for recycling. Temporary forms are installed to hold the concrete in place. Once the concrete starts to set, the forms are stripped and the concrete is finished to complete the restoration. While concrete is an impressively durable and tough surface, it can become damaged from time to time.

Asphalt is popular in large part because of its durability (along with its ability to be repaired), meaning you should be able to expect to get around 20 years out of your pavement without much trouble at all. However, all surfaces need to be replaced at some point, and that is true of asphalt as well. When the time does come to handle an asphalt replacement project, you need to plan that project properly in order to arrive at a successful conclusion.

At some point, you might want to take out your asphalt installation, either to replace it with more asphalt or to do something entirely different with the space. For instance, if you decide that you would like to shrink your driveway in order to allow for a bigger yard, asphalt removal could be a project that lands on your to-do list. Obviously, this is a task that can seem a bit intimidating at first.

The lines and other markings that you place down on the pavement in front of your business actually say a lot about the experience that a customer can expect when they come inside. A well-striped lot makes a good first impression, and it gives off a sense of professionalism that reflects well on your business. To make sure your lot looks nice for all of your guests, have the pavement striped by a contractor who is experienced in exactly this kind of work.

Unsealed surfaces are unprotected from the damaging effects of Southern California's sun, as well as detrimental salt from the ocean. Pavement sealcoating can prevent or minimize these effects and that of typical erosion. Blacktop sealcoating both improves the aesthetic appeal of your surfaces and helps to preserve them, thus prolonging the life of your parking lot or driveway.
read moreAsphalt is used for an incredible number of surfaces in the modern world. You will find asphalt being used for public roads, airport runways, parking lots, driveways, and more. When compared to other options for surfacing, asphalt is affordable, easy-to-install, and long-lasting. Most people in the developed world encounter at least a little bit of asphalt each and every day. While asphalt is an incredible product, it is not perfect. Like any other material used for construction, asphalt can develop problems over time.
