Welcome to OPICA Adult Day Care & Caregiver Support Center! OPICA celebrated its 30th anniversary in April 2009. OPICA is proud of its legacy as the 1st Adult Day Care Center in the City of Los Angeles and continues to be a model for program development and internships. OPICA stands for Older Persons Information and Counseling Associates, however; the members of OPICA prefer to refer to acronym as Optimistic People In a Caring Atmosphere. OPICA offers on site comprehensive counseling services for care partners and is the only Adult Day Care program open on Saturdays, delivering for respite care requirements on weekends.
