New puppy/kitten exam. Your new family member's comprehensive physical exam will check for underlying disease, parasites (please bring a fecal sample) and other issues. Puppies and kittens will be began on heartworm preventative, and kittens will typically be tested for feline leukemia and immunodeficiency virus. We encourage 1st-time pet owners, as well as seasoned pet owners, to bring a list of questions so that we may thoroughly discuss any nutritional, behavior, training, and health concerns.
