PowerKenpo is the most family-friendly martial arts school in the Dallas metroplex, with karate lessons for adults, karate lessons for kids and karate lessons for families every day of the week. Led by Sifu (teacher) Jim Dryburgh, a 4th degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate, PowerKenpo offers classes at both our Carrollton martial arts school and the ice at Stonebriar Mall 7 days a week.

read moreThe Karate Studio is OPEN! We have live classes on the mat Monday though Saturday - members just need to reserve their space in class. Spaces are reserved through the Member App - for directions, just lick the button. Our karate program includes Live Online Zoom classes, In-person classes at the karate studio, Free Private Coaching for member and KARATE IN THE PARK! Training outside is a safer option, it's different, and it's fun! Accepting and mastering challenges is a central part of Martial Arts Training.

Camps
read moreCamp fees include multi-kid and multi-camp discounts - one week of camp could be one day for five campers, or five days for one camper! Purchase a block of days and use them any way you want. You can pay for one day of camp at a time, but you can lower your daily average fee to as low as $38/day by purchasing enough camps to last the year. You can register for individual camps later; we will make announcements if a camp is about to be sold out.
Karate in the Park
read moreSaturday and Sunday are big days for us - because they're good days for our members. Most people get time off on the weekend - so we do classes on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. We have classes at the studio Monday through Friday. These classes are socially distanced, with masks and lots of lysol wipes and hand sanitizer. Pull into the Rec Center off of Rosemeade - and look for the PowerKenpo Canopy right next parking lot and the play area. Look for the KARATE PARKING SIGNS. We'll direct you to the Prep Zone, and from there to class.
