Rialto Theater
Theaters & Cinemas in Tacoma, WA
The most of construction around the Theater District is nearly complete, and with the upgrades has come increased lighting, improved landscaping and added street parking options along the N side of Broadway, St. Helens and Market Streets. The Theater District is generally a very safe neighborhood, but your comfort and ease is significant to us. If at any time you would like an escort to your car after a performance, please alert the House Manager or Guest Services Associate at the event or simply contact the Downtown Tacoma Business Improvement Area (BIA) Security directly.

About Us

These festive occasions have special opportunities which provide critical funding to support the Tacoma Arts Live artistic and educational initiatives. The block now occupied by the Pantages Theater was once the site of a saloon, Tacoma's first library, and Tacoma's first department store. In 1908, William Jones of Walla Walla bought the block and razed the buildings.
