Rona Z Silkiss

Unfortunately, I've had to see many doctors this year. That said, one of the kindest and sharpest is Dr.Silkiss. She really does care about her many patients and it shows. I trust her opinion, which comes from years of being a leader in her field. She's definitely improved my life.

I really loved working with Dr. Silkiss and her team. Every step of the process was clear, easy and most of all friendly. Dr. Silkiss herself was no-nonsense and straight forward with information. It was easy to make appointments, reach out if I had any questions and overall everyone was just very patient and kind throughout - nothing felt rushed and I never felt like I was being pushed off or inconveniencing anyone. Special thank you to Katie for helping with appointments and always answering questions and emails in a quick and friendly manner.

Dr. Silkiss's presence in the operating room was calming, you got the immediate sense that she knew exactly what she was doing and that you were in good hands. Never once through the process did I ever second guess my decision to have this procedure and to have it done by Dr. Silkiss.

The Dr. did a wonderful job with my ptosis correction. I was incredibly nervous about the surgery as well as the results of the correction itself, but 2 months after my surgery you can't tell there was ever anything different! An additional benefit that I wasn't expecting is that the range of vision in my eye has improved which has resulted in less tiredness in my eyes and less headaches. Overall it's pretty incredible.

My follow up appointment was about 1 1/2 weeks after my surgery and again everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Silkiss took time to answer any lingering questions and let me know that if I needed anything else to not hesitate to reach out.

If you're thinking about having ptosis correction (mine specifically was Muller's resection on my left eye) I really couldn't recommend Dr. Silkiss more.

I recently had eyelid surgery with Dr. Silkiss and she did an amazing job! She was knowledgeable, patient and put me at ease during all of my pre-op appointments. This made me extremely comfortable on surgery day. She came in to say "hi" to me before surgery. Asked me a few questions, explained the process and how the procedure would go, step by step. She's a very soothing person so I was not nervous at all. My eye is healing beautifully and I have Dr. Silkiss to thank! Also, her team and office staff are just as pleasant, patient and diligent. It was an all around great experience for me and I highly recommend.

I'm not sure if any negative reviews because I know everyone has an opinion and you have to know everyone is different but wow what an amazing experience I had here. I've been squeezing my eyes for almost five years from something.It was causing headaches and severe depression it was getting so bad.My dentist recommended this amazing eye surgeon because I'd been to eye doctors,doctors,dermatologists, you name it and no one helped me. she was so amazing in her recommending certain medications more more for her bedside manner and care. She had a plan and it gave me hope and worked!Finally someone knew what they were doing! She changed my life, cured my depression and I will forever be great full. I wish I saw her five years ago. She is so kind and wonderful and I'm just so happy
