Royal Pastry Shop was set up in 1941 in East Cambridge, Massachusetts by Vincenzo and Ninetta Coppola. Vincenzo was born in Hamrun, Malta, but was of Sicilian descent. He emigrated to the US in 1925 and worked in his uncle's pastry shop in Boston's North End until he opened Royal Pastry. Ninetta (Urso) Coppola was born in Floridia, Sicily and emigrated to Hartford, CT in 1920. Together they operated the business unit 1962 when twin sons Ernest and Salvatore Coppola took over the business. Today the original location still exists.

We bake fresh daily and use only the finest ingredients available. In 1973 we opened second location in historic Lexington, MA. Our stores are open 7 days a week.
