Santa Fe Garage Services is an auto service facility delivering mechanical maintenance and repair services. Or specialty is precision alignment and tire/wheel work. We use calibrated, top of the line Hunter Equipment for all alignments, tire mounting and RoadForce balancing. David Long, CPA and Greg Smith, ASE Master Technician, are the partners operating Santa Fe Garage Services. David began in automotive parts service business in the 80s with Texaco Service Stations, and pursues amateur road racing in the SCCA (Sport Car Club of America)

read moreSanta Fe Garage Services started in 1999 as a private enterprise to provide a facility and resources to assist racers and car enthusiasts with the service and preparation of their cars. The majority of the partners have been racing and working on cars for over twenty years. We are car enthusiasts who have prepared cars for autocross (ESP and CP) and road racing (ITA, IT7, EP, AS, and GT) and have participated as drivers and crew in many SCCA National Championship Runoffs. We decided to expand and offer our services to the general public in 2008.
Tire Mounting and Balancing
read moreTire mounting services are provided using the Hunter Engineering new Revolution tire machine or Hunter's TC3500 internal, non metallic, rim clamp machine, depending on the tire/wheel combination. This equipment is also used for indexing the tire and wheel assemblies as indicated by the Road Force Balancing operation. This machine is designed to minimize the potential risk of damage to performance and alloy wheels; there is no metal to metal contact. All installed wheel assemblies are tightened to factory torque specifications by hand with calibrated torque wrenches.
