1st United Methodist Church, Wichita Falls, has a history that dates back to 1881 and a magnificent Gothic Sanctuary and facility. However, the power of our church is not in our history - nor can it be seen in bricks and mortar. The power of this church is in terms of our people who are working together to live out the Gospel in their daily lives. Our mission is to connect you with opportunities to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. read moreIn a review of the last 4 months of offering worship at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 a.m., we did not have consistent attendance at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. We understand that not everyone will be ready to return to in-person worship at this time - our TV and online ministry continues to be a priority. Additional ministries such as Sunday school and small groups will maintain a virtual option. In addition, classes and groups may meet during the week in some of the larger classrooms.
