Sports Training in Seattle, WA Ou begin by completing the Phase 1, Home Study and Pool instruction to get ready for the ocean training. Our teaching team have all been trained by Master Instructor, Craig A. Gillespie. Unlike the part time dive instructors with most shops, Craig is an expert who has been teaching diving as his full time career for over 30 years. During that time he has taught diving in The US, Australia, Hawaii & Japan and has assisted over 21, 000 people learn to dive.

We do not require you to buy any of your own equipment for our beginner classes and Advanced Open Water. Mask, snorkel, fins, you know name it, it is included! By using our gear first it allows you to become acquainted with diving before deciding what gear is best suited for your diving needs. When joining our beginner class you will receive half price rentals for 2 months following your class, and 10% off any gear purchases for a month after your class.
Drysuit Diving

Prerequisite: We must require that you have cold water diving experience here in Puget Sound before we can allow you to join our drysuit training program. Modern dry suits have opened the door to diving in even the coolest water. A dry suit lets you venture into sites far from the tropical dive resorts to which many people limit their diving.
Private Lessons
read moreWe offer private classes for individuals or small groups who can't, or don't wish to, join our regularly scheduled group training sessions. We will work with you to find pool and open water training dates that fit your schedule, and there will be an instructor dedicated just to you. Our PADI Open Water Diver Course is the entry level program through which most people begin the adventure of diving. The course begins with Home Study program. You should plan to spend 15 to 20 hours on the home studies.
Sidemount Diver
read moreThat's OK too! Trying to get a little deeper and or stay a little longer? Carrying two tanks is easier than you think. In this course you will be introduced to the equipment setup and techniques for diving sidemount rigs. We will work on both single and double tank setups. Double tank setups are the perfect redundant system if you are doing deeper dives. Single tank setup is great for all your normal diving. You don't have to be a technical diver to dive sidemount. Many recreational divers are finding the sidemount setups to be more comfortable and easier to handle than the traditional backmount tanks.

By mastering Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (first aid) course skills you can render important care to those in need. You'll also know that you're learning state of the art skills, based on the consensus view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
