Smith Hill Early Childhood

Capital City Community Centers is dedicated to helping disadvantaged members of our community to evolve and maintain the education, employment, life and social skills they need to live healthy and productive lives. We currently have a long and diverse history. The organization was established in 1945 as the Smith Hill Girls Club, but ten years later the club became co-ed and expanded its services. The agency continued to expand, adding its 1st childcare program in 1959, a senior program a decade later and eventually a completely licensed childcare program that is still in operation today.
