Museum & Art Gallery in Pueblo, CO The Southeastern Colorado Heritage Center seeks to preserve, promote, and interpret the heritage of southeastern Colorado thereby fostering an understanding and appreciation for the plurality of its people. We accomplish this by delivering the public access to our historical collections and by cooperating with other heritage-related groups. The Southeastern Colorado Heritage Center's vision is to be a vital part of the southeastern Colorado community, serving as a regional network for heritage-based organizations, a research library and museum.

read moreThe purpose of the Pueblo Heritage Museum is to preserve, promote and interpret the rich heritage of Southeastern Colorado. Education through our "Legacy Trunk" outreach program and guided tours is one of our primary community goals. The rich cultural and ethnic heritage of the area is the focus of many of our interpretive exhibits and the Legacy Trunk programs. These programs provide academic enrichment to schools, youth organizations, and the public. Trunk presentations and tours are free to school children in Pueblo County.
