In addition to routine pet care, Southside Animal Hospital is also involved in wildlife rehabilitation and supports many local animal adoption and rescue programs. Dr. Emerson received his Veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has practiced companion animal medicine in Winston-Salem for over 25 years.
