State Center Credit Union

Our original members opened a tiny office in the State Building at 2550 Mariposa Street in Fresno, California. The Board met monthly to conduct credit union business and the credit committee met weekly to approve loans to the members. Our 1st part-time employee was Peggy Aufterhyde. The branch office in the State Building moved three times from 1959 through the 1970's. Then in 1974, the branch moved to the Merced Street location and again moved in 1996 to our current centrally situated office at 1515 E.
