Veterinarians in Charlotte, NC Dr. Virginia McNamee decided she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age. Most of her childhood was spent in Raleigh, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She joined Steele Creek Animal Hospital in May 2006 and is enjoying life in Charlotte. All kinds of veterinary medicine excite Dr. McNamee, particularly cardiology, internal medicine, surgery and community outreach. She loves spending time with her husband, Daniel, daughter, Riley and two dogs, Dakota and Lilly. She enjoys camping, hiking, Virginia Tech football, bluegrass music, cooking and gardening.
