He started running in 1974 to lose weight. His high weight was 205 lbs. He has been there, done that, and gotten the tee-shirt. He is now and has been a individual coach of runners and triathletes for 21 years. He worked as a Team in Training coach for the 1st 5 years of the program in Nashville. Robert has coached runners in every stroll from the mile to the marathon, including 11 Boston Qualifier, several regional and two national class triathletes.

Since then I've run 6 half-marathons, along with several 10K's and 5K's. In all these races I wore the shoes I had been recommended by Team Nashville, and in most of these races I've gotten PR's, while running practically pain-free.
