Developed and taught by owner of Tone-Up Santa Barbara, Suesan Lazarus Pawlitski since 1985. TONE-UP is a synthesis of dance conditioning and athletic training. Its non-aerobic strength-training system combines physiologically sound and effective exercises based on ballet warm-ups, yoga, weightroom workouts, pilates principles and calisthenics. Through the added use of light weights, gravity and correct body alignment, the TONE-UP system is a great way to increase resistance to injury while improving strength, muscle tone, endurance, balance, coordination, and agility.
