Though the school started little more than a decade ago, it has seen rapid growth. In fact, it is already the biggest independent Christian high school in Kansas. The reason for Trinity's growth may seem easy to explain: a solid administration, outstanding faculty, and impressive results. But these are not the reasons for the growth. The reason for the growth is God. It was God who faithfully revealed his plans for Trinity, and God who faithfully offered the resources. No faculty, board, or administration could bring about what God has done here.

God did more than just provide the vision for the school - he provided the location, the staff, the funding, the building, and yes, even the students. In 1992, God impressed the need for a Christian high school upon three businessmen: Bill Nath, Pete Ochs, and Bob Smith. Christian elementary schools across Wichita. Though most agreed that a Christian high school was needed, no one felt called to donate assistance. Disappointed, these three founders prayed for a sign that would assure them that they were to continue.
