
Trinity United Presbyterian Church is the 1st United Presbyterian Church in Southern California. It was organized by 18 Charter Members on June 22, 1876, in the home of James McFadden. The Reverend D. S. McHenry was the 1st pastor in 1878 and the 1st sanctuary was built on the NW corner of fourth and Mortimer Streets in Santa Ana. In 1906, the congregation moved to the property at Sixth and Bush Streets in Santa Ana. Then in 1958, our present location of 17th and Prospect was purchased for $6, 400 per acre.
