Twin Arts Dance opened its doors in 1953 servicing the Pasadena area with major art forms of the day, ballet, and tap. Jazz was still in the developing stages and was added a several years later. Ballroom and social dancing were provided to the teens and young adults. Progressing into the mid-70's and into the 80's Twin Arts continued to provide the newest developments in the dance world such as disco, street jazz, and hip hop. Twin Arts had its 50th anniversary in 2003. We're still growing, still continuing to learn the art of dance, and still providing the Pasadena area the finest in dance education.

We take pride in the fact that we compete at the highest level at every competition we go to, from our 5 year olds to our seniors. While others only strive for the 1st place trophy, our objective is to give the team members a feeling of self-worth and accomplishment no matter what they place. We want competition to be an enjoyable experience for all involved. Although we may not spend an excessive amount of time in practice or rehearsals, our dancers still consistently place in the top ten when they are focused on stage.
