University Prep is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian day school for grades six through twelve. We provide an outstanding college preparatory education to a diverse group of students. Our program features top-notch academics, arts, athletics, and cocurricular activities, and enables each student to chart a distinctive path in pursuit of an abiding interest or an adventure into the unknown. Beyond academics, we are committed in preparing students for adult life, focusing on respect for self and others, effective problem solving, and mature decision making.

read moreShavette joined University Prep in 2012 and served as the Director of Diversity and Community and Director of Hiring before joining the Admission Office as Director of Enrollment Management in 2018. Shavette is a proud Cougar alum with a BA in Communications from Washington State University and a Masters in Education from Western Washington University. Before coming to UPrep, Shavette worked in higher education at Western Washington University, Lewis & Clark College and Seattle University. Shavette oversees the entire Admission and Financial Aid process at University Prep and loves to work with our prospective families.
