Adventist Medical Center (AMC) situated in SE Portland, is a non-profit, 302-bed acute care facility, providing a complete array of inpatient, outpatient, emergency and surgical services across the Portland/Vancouver area. With more than 2, 000 employees, AMC is one of the biggest employers in E Multnomah County. In 2009, Adventist Medical Center treated 11, 010 inpatients, 128, 412 outpatients and 44, 155 emergency room patients, delivered 1, 195 babies, and offered 26, 909 home care visits and 173, 735 primary care visits.
