Tammie and John both grew up in families that were very involved with dogs professionally. John's dad was an expert handler and his mother was a breeder, handler and an AKC conformation judge for many years. Tammie's mother handled both obedience and conformation dogs and has been an expert dog trainer for over 40 years. As Tammie and John grew up they became involved in caring for family and customer dogs, worked for various kennels and handled numerous dogs.
