The new hospital was built in 2000, just to the north of that first location, and included a large medical facility and boarding kennel. To meet the demand for boarding, and to provide indoor and outdoor spaces for dog training classes, the building was expanded in 2005. Measuring 11,000 square feet, the hospital is designed to offer one-stop convenience for pet care. Woodland Veterinary Hospital was owned and managed by Dr. Bruce Dennie from 1996 until 2012, when Drs. Ellie Johnson and Keith Rode joined him as an ownership team.
