Work Force Invstmt Board

The Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Solano County was established in 1982 as the Private Industry Council of Solano County under an agreement with the County of Solano. As the Private Industry Council, the agency administered workforce development programs under the federal Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) Leadership included representatives from private business, education, labor, health & human service agencies, community based organizations and other employment & training agencies.
