The Deep South Center For Environmental Justice (DSCEJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives in climate-vulnerable communities through research, education, and workforce development. Since 1992, we have championed environmental justice by empowering marginalized populations along the Gulf Coast through our unique Communiversity Model that bridges community knowledge with academic expertise. Our certified training programs prepare workers for environmental careers while our advocacy initiatives drive policy change at local and national levels.
