Owners David and Jan Vanderbilt began outfitting clients in boots and jeans almost thirty five years ago in Wamego, KS. When they 1st opened the doors in 1973, Vanderbilt's was a smaller version of a Ben Franklin discount department store. Clients would ask why we didn't carry boots or jeans, David says.
