California Cadet Academy

read moreThe CCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Educational Corporation. The organization was established to provide high school aged students the opportunity to experience what it would be like to become a Firefighter, Law Enforcement Officer or Emergency Medical Technician. In recent years, several school boards throughout the country have reduced and/or eliminated high school vocational training programs that were traditionally offered as an alternative to college. The CCA strives to promote an emphasis in education as well as provide basic vocational training.

read moreThe mission of the California Cadet Academy is to provide High School aged students with exposure to and education about the careers of Firefighting, Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services. Our fundamental responsibility is to allow the cadets of the academy to explore the dimensions of public service while developing skills that will assist them throughout life. The goal of the academy is to provide a safe and controlled environment in which to mentor, educate and prepare cadets for challenges that they will face in the future.
