Furniture Refinishing
Our meticulous refinishing process preserves antique furniture integrity while restoring modern pieces. Using semi-paste removers and hand-stripping techniques, we protect wood joints from damage. Nitrocellulose lacquers create durable finishes, with multiple coats ensuring smooth surfaces. Final waxing and hand-buffing complete the restoration, maintaining original design intent while enhancing longevity for both residential and commercial clients.
Upholstery Services
Specializing in traditional upholstery techniques, we use premium materials including 15-year-warranty foam and extensive fabric selections from top suppliers. Our master craftsmen avoid shortcuts, focusing on structural integrity and aesthetic perfection. The process includes coil spring seat bases, custom fabric matching, and COM program options, ensuring both comfort and durability for chairs, ottomans, and specialty furniture pieces.
Eames Lounge Chair Restoration
Expert restoration of iconic Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs, including shock mount replacement and wood shell refinishing. We maintain original specifications while upgrading components like brass swivel bushings. Our technicians address common issues in vintage chairs while preserving their historical value, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic authenticity for collectors and design enthusiasts.
Custom Table Pads
Manufactured from solid fiberboard with magnetic edges, our custom table pads protect surfaces from heat up to 550F. Each pad is tailored to specific dimensions, featuring durable construction that prevents warping. The service includes in-home measurements and pattern creation, ensuring perfect fit for both antique and modern tables while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
Furniture Replicas
Crafting exact replicas of Victorian and historic furniture using traditional mahogany wood from Java. Our artisans employ hand-carving techniques to match original designs, offering custom finishes and upholstery options. The service includes pattern creation from sample pieces, ensuring precise replication of intricate details while maintaining structural integrity for both individual collectors and commercial clients.
