Music Lessons in Seattle, WA
Music Lessons in Seattle, WA About Our Teachers

Our music schoolhas more than 35 of the best music teachers in the Northwest! We receive more than 1,000 applications each year from teachers all over the world.

A great player is not necessarily a great teacher and a great teacher not always the best player. We know what it takes to be an excellent instructor so we are constantly interviewing teachers to bring you only the best!

Most students don't know what to look for in a music instructor. They also lack the time, energy and knowledge to interview and audition multiple teachers to find just the right one. This is whereour schoolreally shines! With decades of teaching experience ourselves, we know just what makes a instructor excellent and how to match students with teachers.

What to look for in a music teacher

Interested & Supportive
Great music instructors ask you what you are interested in learning and what your purposes are. Then they will create a program for you that takes you where you want to go!

Energetic & Fun
Lessons can be a blast with a teacher that shares your excitement and interests.

Organized
All teachers need to be well organized with a variety of teaching programs available to meet your individual requirements.

Dependable
At our schoolwe require all instructors to be on time and respect our students schedule. If your teacher is sick or has to miss a lesson to play a concert, we can usually provide a substitute to keep you moving forward!

Inspirational
Most of all, a great teacher should inspire you to want to practice and keep improving!

About Us
read morePlease call us for availability. Not all instruments are taught at every location. Your child's school band teacher has 20-35 students to lead in a 45-minute class. Private lessons are one on one and highly focused on your child's needs. Many parents think their child is already taking music lessons by being in the school band or orchestra. It is rare that your child's school teacher happens to specialize in your child's particular instrument and will have very little one-on-one time with them.
About Us
read moreThe Director, Tyler Tullock, has been teaching private music lessons since the age of ten. After almost 30 years of teaching and more than 3,000 students later, he hired two of his former understudies (Steve Bambrough and Ryan Casperson) to assist him and his family in forming 4/4 School of Music, LLC. Bonnie (Mom) keeps everything running smoothly in the office. She'll make you laugh and talk your ear off. The most important thing to her is that you are happy with your teacher and your time here at 4/4.
Our Teachers
read moreJust call us! We spend a huge amount of time every day matching students with our teachers. We know them all very well. We know their strengths and weaknesses, what styles they specialize in and if they are great with kids and beginners. We speak to their students, parents of their students and to the other teachers that they work with every day! We could write a couple of paragraphs about each one on this web page but honestly it wouldn't help you very much. We used to do that and students would often choose a teacher that wasn't the best for their needs.
