Aikido Academy

We're directly affiliated with Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan, and aim to uphold the traditions, history and teachings of the Founder, Morihei Ueshiba. We're dedicated to the best standards of training and safety for the sake of our students. The founder and head instructor of the Aikido Academy is Francis Y. Takahashi Shihan, seventh Dan, an original pioneer of aikido in Southern California, a historical figure in the development of aikido in America, and one of the world's premier teachers of aikido.
