Welcome to All Saints Sharon Chapel
read moreThis is a quiet, contemplative service without music intended to highlight the stark beauty of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Founded simply as "the Chapel at Sharon" in 1848, All Saints Sharon Chapel has a rich history including war, occupation, fire, collapse and, most importantly, the grace of God to continue to serve our community through it all. Today, led by the Reverend Cayce Ramey, All Saints Sharon Chapel is the cherished home of an open and affirming, racially and ethnically diverse congregation holding steadfast to our best traditions while seeking to explore the spirit and will of God together.
Outreach at Sharon Chapel
read moreYou are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. At Sharon Chapel we strive to serve our community in many ways. We've only scratched the surface below but we're also always looking for new opportunities to serve. On the first Tuesday of the month, Sharon Chapel parishioners gather at Carpenter's Shelter at 930 North Henry Street in Alexandria (www.carpentersshelter.org) to prepare and serve a meal to the 50-75 men, women and children living there.
