read moreWe are First Baptist Church of Kingstowne, an independent Baptist church located in the Kingstowne/Hayfield/Springfield area of Fairfax County, Virginia. We've been a part of this community for more than fifty years, and over that time, we've grown and changed, just like the community around us. Fairfax County is an exciting place, full of opportunities and promises, home to over a million people - most of them well-educated, achievement-oriented, and affluent. But Fairfax County is also a place of personal challenges, with demanding careers, high living costs, frantic schedules, and transient neighborhoods.

Matthew 28:19-20 instructs us to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Lives are touched, souls are saved, and churches are established when churches get a burden to spread the gospel message wherever they can. Kingstowne Baptist Church's primary area of ministry is in northern Virginia, but we are also involved in missions work across the United States and throughout the world.
