Before her career as an attorney, she raised and trained Rottweilers for AKC competition. Her dogs have attained both Championship titles in conformation and obedience titles. She and her husband, Joe, were also active in Schutzhund. You can still find her Tuesday evenings teaching Puppy Manners classes with the goal of teaching new puppy parents how to raise their puppies using positive reinforcement techniques to replace bad behavior with good behavior.
