Nancy was born on St. Patrick's Day in Asheville, North Carolina and currently lives in Charlotte. Her father was from South Carolina and her mother from North Carolina. As you can see, Nancy's heart and her roots are in the Carolinas! Nancy paints in watercolors and acrylics and has studied with numerous well-known artists including Harris Holt, Joseph Bohler, Tom Lynch, Susanna Spann, Margaret Hall Hoybach, Steve Rogers, Robert Burridge, Karlyn Holman, Anne Abgott and Joe Miller. Leading an annual painting tour in Italy, Nancy is currently working on a series of works based on Italian life and the Italian countryside.

Peggi's workshop took attendees from a suitable photographic image through multiple value/design studies and color studies to a finished design, resulting in a work of art that was not a copy of a photo but rather a personal creation.

read morePlease note that the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds of any kind are given if you cancel 45 days or less prior to the workshop. You may want to consider travel insurance to protect yourself in case of personal emergencies. If the instructor cancels the workshop, we will do our best to reschedule the workshop in the same 12 month period. If this is not possible for some reason, you may transfer your deposit to another workshop as space is available or request a refund.

I have been with Carmen two years in Italy trips and even sent my son and his bride on their honeymoon trip to stay in Sorrento to meet her! She is great humorous when you cook! Carmen is now teaching now on the Internet! We can learn classes with Carmen on your Ipad, or computer any mobile and good internet connection and by Zoom to see the class.
