Would highly recommend Blackhawk moving and storage. They moved us out of one house and held our stuff on their truck for 4 days before we could get into our new home. Amazing group of workers. Hard working , friendly and truly cared about our things. Thank you everyone that helped us

Highly recommended

We recently had planned a move out of state, and then had to change those plans and move across town. Blackhawk was very accommodating to our needs. We had 2 different moving crews, and they were both fantastic. Moving can be stressful, and they had some fun in their day which lightened the mood. They loaded and packed us with care, and all of our belongings arrived in their proper spots at the new location. Would highly recommend their services if you are in need of a local or cross country move!!

Great company

We moved from Chicago to Port Charlotte, Florida. Our estimate was right on the money ( just slightly lower than Allied) and contact with the salesman and office staff was great. The loading crew was a little late arriving because of issues getting to our house in the city. We also had issues with city street cleaning, even having gotten a permit to park the truck- it had to be moved mid-day for a short time. The main 3 guys also had 2 extra local guys that had to leave at 5. The rest of the main crew worked until 2 AM to load the remainder and fill out the truck, full to the back doors. We moved a lot of stuff!
I had worked for a moving company for 6 years going to college part time and know what hard work this is and how to load a truck. I also had done all of our own packing except for a few things at the end. It also helped that my last job prior to retiring was working for a corrugated carton manufacturer and had access to making any custom cartons I needed.
The crew arrived in Florida (same 3 main guys) on the day promised and unloaded without issue. There were a few minor damaged items but nothing of major note to bother with the claim process. In a pretty much fully loaded trailer, we were very pleased with the service and job that Blackhawk did.
