When you view my images you will notice that a large portion of my work are close-ups inspired by Georgia O'Keefe, who has been a role model for me. In nature I am never at a loss for subject to observe and photograph. As a child, I was rarely without a camera and took pictures of anything that caught my eye. Several years ago I began taking classes and became more serious about photography. Today, my camera travels with me everywhere.

read moreI've been a picture framer since 1975. Throughout my career I have worked with various artist and clients allowing me to be around many different forms and styles of artwork. From my perspective the defining line between craftsman and artist has never been distinct. There is a certain element of craftsmanship in all artistry and a degree artistry in all craftsmanship. I approach my photography with these same thoughts. I spend a lot of time outdoors, often with my digital camera in hand, enjoying everything from my backyard in my current home town of Richardson Texas, to my childhood home near the Wichita mountains in Oklahoma.
