Churches in San Mateo, CA
Christ Church Parish is a parish of the Anglican Catholic Church Original Province. We're committed to Biblical Truth and Catholic Order, and to knowing Christ and making Him known through Word and Sacrament. Worship at Christ Church Parish follows the historic 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Christ Church Parish is housed in the pretty and historic Carpenter's Gothic church building, which was originally built in 1869 on the foundation of the old Mission San Jose, which had been destroyed by an earthquake in 1868.

Outreach
read moreOutreach into the Community is more than a Scriptural mandate. It has always played an important part in the life of Saint Joseph Parish and is, in itself, a teaching tool. A parish is a community of believers dedicated to helping others. That help extends beyond the four walls of the building. The undercroft is utilized during the school year by a pre-school. The Parish offers space as it is available to other organizations provided the intended use is consistent with established Parish guidelines.
