Because there is no Biblical reference for such a change, and because Jesus worshiped on Saturday, Seventh-day Adventists continue to Remember the Sabbath day. Adventist - As a reference to the Second Advent of Jesus Christ, this is the greatest hope of mankind. It is possible only because Jesus lived a sinless life while here on earth, offered Himself as a supreme sacrifice, and then was.

The special classes will deal with a topic that is of interest and they have included things like; a new believers class, different Bible study techniques, Making Friends for God series and other special interest items. The children's classes are led by some of the very best teachers who love and treasure our children.

They work all year long making quilted lap robes to distribute around the holidays to people in nursing homes and at the VA Hospital. These lap robes are provided at no cost and bring warmth, love and comfort to people who might otherwise not have any. One of Thelma's favorite sweatshirts has a picture of a kitten with some scraps of material and yarn and the caption reads "When life gives you scraps, just make a quilt."

The first is His creation of man and woman--and His giving them the freedom of choice. He created humans with the ability to choose to love Him or to hate Him! The death of Jesus Christ, God's only Son, on the cross as our substitute is the second great event. In that act He paid the penalty we deserve for our hateful choices toward God and His ways.

read moreSabbath School, or Bible study, is at 9:30 am on Saturdays. There are classes available for all age groups, from the very young to the, well, the young at heart. The Worship Service is from 10:50 to a little after 12:00. The worship service will have praise with music, a children's story, Bible readings and the message from the pastor. We are fairly informal. No one will make you stand up or call upon you. Sit where you feel comfortable.
