Leo, Sr. An alumnus of Nashua High School, served in World war II as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Medical Corps from 1942-1945. Upon his return home, he went to Boston, MA and attended New England Institute of Anatomy and Mortuary Science (NEI) where he received his diploma in Funeral Directing and Embalming. In 1949, at his residence on Ferry St. In Hudson, NH he constructed a funeral home. The Leo A. Dumont Funeral Home proved to be a individual success as well as a success to the community.
