Dennis Keating was born in New York State into a family of nine. At the age of five, they moved to California near the Pasadena area. He was raised in a devout Catholic family, and attended 12 years of Catholic school. Dennis placed his individual faith in Jesus Christ after hearing the gospel at Forest Home Christian Conference Center in 1972. He received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in accounting in 1975, and a Master of Divinity from Talbot Seminary in 1979.

read moreCome find encouragement during our latest session of Life Groups by connecting with others in a small group for our new discipleship series, The Way (begins February 6/7). Both online or in-person options will be available. In the nine-week Financial Peace University class, we'll study the biblical principles and common-sense wisdom involved in gaining control of your finances. Class will be held on Sundays, January 31 - March 8, at 3:30pm. Discipleship Journey is an 10-week, life-changing course that will teach you how to see yourself as God sees you and help you resolve issues from your past.

read moreAt Emmanuel Faith Community Church we love God and people. We are honored to be the home church of a few thousand Jesus-followers in North San Diego County. Our welcoming church family includes a variety of ages, stages and ethnicities, with ministries designed to help people walk in the way of Jesus with the heart of Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ is God who came to earth in human form to reveal God's love for us and willingly pay the price for our sin by dying on a cross. He rose three days later to conquer death so that anyone who believes in Him can fully live in a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe.
