Churches in Escondido, CA
Churches in Escondido, CA As June draws to a close, so does our focus on prayers of thanksgiving and praise (we are moving on to the 2nd stop in our Trinitarian Travel) We start with thanksgiving because prayer is supposed to start here-the foundation of our relationship with God. However, honestly, much of the time, our prayer life starts with need, even despair. This week has been like so many others-so many prayers that need to be answered, so little evidence that we're getting what we need.

About Us
read moreTrinity Episcopal Church Escondido is a part of the United States Episcopal Church. In the Episcopal Church we have many different flavors of worship style and belief. We like to think our differences create beauty. Trinity Episcopal Church Escondido is a progressive, Christ-centered group who invites all people to our worship. We, at Trinity Episcopal Church Escondido, believe that all are welcome at Christ's table. We embrace liturgy, social justice, and inclusion. Despite our traditional worship style, we delight in the loud mistakes of life.
What We Do on Sundays
read moreVisiting Trinity may be a startling experience, if you have never visited an Episcopal church before. Even if you have an Episcopal background, you may wonder where Trinity gets its particular traditions. This section is meant to walk you through the Sunday experience and give you a sense of why we do what we do. In dress, as in many issues, Trinity is a community of diversity. Many members, especially in the summer, come to services in casual attire, while others choose to wear their "Sunday best".
Children at Trinity
read moreAny age is an appropriate age to join the church, but for parents there may be no age when bringing children to church is an easy task. This section is meant to support parents in that crucial task of bringing children to church and faith by providing reasons and incentives, as well as advice and resources. Yes, the church provides an education in all things Christian - the Bible stories and beliefs, prayer and answers about God. But that's not all. Even if your children attend a Christian school, they will not receive the benefits of church membership, because belonging to a church brings so much more.
