Henry Ford College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The Higher Learning Commission is a regional accreditation agency. While it is not directly affiliated with the federal government, it is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a body qualified to accredit degree-granting colleges and universities in the North Central region of the United States.

Whether you attended HFC or HFCC or DJC or FJC, we welcome you to the Alumni Association. There is no cost to join; all you have to do is sign up. As part of our commitment to you, we will never share your contact information or personal data with anyone outside HFC. The Career Services office assists alumni, as well as current HFC students, to attain their professional goals.

We want to make your educational experience valuable and built around your personal, educational, and career goals. HFC highly recommends working with an Academic Advisor, who is here to help guide you into the right program for your academic and career goals. HFC offers academic programs to prepare you for specific career fields, or to upgrade your skills if you are already employed. Credits you earn at HFC will transfer to four-year colleges and universities for a seamless path toward a bachelor's degree.
