Established in 1957, Kansas City Ballet is a 25-member professional ballet firm under the direction of Artistic Director William Whitener and Executive Director Jeffrey Bentley. Kansas City Ballet performs three mixed repertory seasons per year as well as the ever-popular Nutcracker. The firm reaches over 15, 000 Kansas City students and adults each year through its community education programs and supplies dance training through the Kansas City Ballet School.

read moreOn your visit to Kansas City Ballet, you'll notice that we've taken steps to reduce touchpoints and protect your safety. Here are the key policies we've put in place. When the performance is over, patrons must leave the building through the same door as they entered. Again, there will be no congregating in the theater or lobby after the performance. If you have symptoms such as fever or cough or have come in contact with someone with symptoms, please do not attend the performance. Temperature checks are required upon entry into the Bolender Center.
