Thus starts the record of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Roseville, California. It is from these humble beginnings that this church started. The church was built and organized from early Landmark beliefs that still remain strong in her to this day. In 1912 Brother Charles E. Hunt with his wife, Maud, and two young daughters arrived in Roseville to work for the railroad. Shortly thereafter in May of 1913 his brother Chester Hunt with Lula, his wife, and their baby boy Samuel Lee moved to Roseville. These men had come from a scriptural church in Keokuk Falls, Oklahoma.
