She received her BFA in Sculpture from Wichita State University in 1991 and attended the prestigious Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine. She attended graduate school at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and received her Masters of Education from Wichita State University. Most recently, Tina was awarded a Kansas Cultural Trust Grant to attend the Mosaic Art School in Ravenna, Italy and the Contemporary Mosaic Workshop in London, England.
