Museum & Art Gallery in Wichita, KS The Museum of World Treasures was established by Dr. Jon and Lorna Kardatzke and opened its doors for the 1st time on April 22, 2001 at the Garvey Center in downtown Wichita, Kansas. About two years later - due to tremendous growth - the museum relocated to what is affectionately known as the Farm & Art Market. The building is situated in the Old Town district of Wichita, just E of downtown and was converted from a warehouse as were most of the multiuse buildings in the district.

This wall forced families apart, and stood as a constant reminder of the political strife in Germany. Its demolition started in 1990 and took two years to complete. Now, you can touch this piece of history. Even in its individual state, our displayed section of the Berlin Wall stands cold and daunting at 11 feet of solid concrete. We encourage you to stand next to this massive piece of 20th century history and put yourself in the shoes of a Berlin resident during the Cold War era.
