Our In-House laboratory enables clinicians to get STAT blood test results in the shortest possible time. This is particularly important in critical care and emergency cases where every minute can count. Our laboratory is capable of running blood chemistry tests, complete blood counts, urinalysis, bacterial cultures, and many other diagnostic tests. Our department head, Ann Martin, BS, MT (ASCP) CCT, leads a team of skilled technicians who are on site 7 days a week.

read moreThe ICU is fully equipped with blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, EKG monitors, oxygen therapy, a blood gas analyzer, blood typing, coagulation monitoring, and a mechanical ventilator. An in house laboratory allows for rapid test results. Additionally, there is an on site blood bank. We are prepared to handle patients with a variety of disorders ranging from allergic reactions to life threatening diseases. We also have a trained, highly skilled group of technicians that work alongside the doctors in our ICU.
