Pendelton Art Center
Museum & Art Gallery in Cincinnati, OH
The building housing the artists of the Pendleton Art Center in Rising Sun, Indiana was erected in the late nineteenth century as Gibson Hardware Store, then becoming a tiny parts and engine repair store during the mid-twentieth century. In 2000 the city of Rising Sun sold the building to the Pendleton Art Center of Cincinnati as part of the city's Art as Economic Development plan. Today, the building has been totally renovated into art studios and art gallery.
