read moreAs the Louise Taft Semple President/CEO of the Taft Museum of Art since 2009, Scott is ultimately responsible for all operations of the Museum, including its intellectual and programmatic direction, and also provides strategic direction. She serves as the institution's chief fundraiser and works to advance the Museum's reputation in the community, region, and beyond. Prior to coming to the Taft, Scott spent 25 years at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, where she was curator of modern and contemporary art, then chief curator, and also took a leadership role in major capital projects.
